LOVING the teachers new to my second cycle! Had an awesome meeting with one of them this week, and she is so motivated to excel in technology. Not only is she open to introducing new platforms into her lessons, she also wants to become a level one certified educator! Best part... she approached me about it, with no prompting.
We discovered this week that the video camera on student chromebooks is currently blocked. We couldn't get any extensions from chrome to download. However, in working with one of our campus Innovators, we found an extension through Alice Keeler. The video will load directly to a student's Drive. It's not as compatible as other extensions, but it's a great work-around for what most teachers need their students to do. #problemsolving
Oh, which extension did you use? Do you know why it is blocked? That sounds like something it would be helpful to have changed asap! But I'm glad you were able to get a workaround for it!
